LifeParkour

For the moment when the map changes

Notice what’s here.
Find your move.

LifeParkour is a way to recover agency when the route you expected no longer exists—and to notice the possibilities you might otherwise walk past.

Read the whole terrain

A life contains things to move through—and things worth moving toward.

Some days call for getting around, over, or through an obstacle. The terrain has features, too: a waterfall to watch, a tree to climb, moss soft beneath your hand, a person you might talk with. Some change your route. Some make the moment worth staying for.

You don’t need a perfect route. You need enough attention to see what is actually there, enough agency to choose an approach, and enough play to learn from what happens next.

A human practice

Precision and play belong in the same room.

James Todd helps people notice what has changed, recognize where they still have room to move, and choose a next step that belongs to them.

LifeParkour is a practice for that work: look honestly, choose an approach, try the movement, learn from the interaction, and have another go.

Take the terrain check into your day. If it helps you notice a move, tell me what happened on Ko-fi—and what would help you keep practicing.
